DOMAINE DUGAT-PY

We have been privileged to represent Domaine Dugat-Py in the UK since their first commercial vintage in 1989. Today, Bernard and Jocelyne Dugat and their son, Loïc, are among the finest and most sought-after handful of producers in all Burgundy.

They are blessed with around 10 hectares of organically grown, old (65+ years), low yielding vines, mostly around Gevrey – including holdings in Chambertin, Mazis, Charmes and Mazoyères.

They are fastidious in the vines and, even on winters days, one can never get an appointment to see them until 5.30pm, when the day’s work is done. They pick mature, rather than super-ripe fruit and vinify to ensure wines with great intensity, breed and harmony – which require several years in bottle to show at their best.
