MONTAGNE SAINT ÉMILION
A 30-hectare property situated in the hills of Montagne and Saint-Georges. It is the home of Jacques Capdemourlin who also owns the two Grand Cru Classés Saint Émilion – Châteaux Balestard La Tonnelle and Cap de Mourlin.
The soil is clay-chalk and the vines average 35 years old. The blend comprises 60% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and is vinified and matured in cement cuves. The resulting wine is rich and easy drinking.
